y long-held passion for painting led me to the University of California at Santa Barbara where I received a Bachelors Degree in Art Studio. It was here that, after much experimentation and effort with technique, I found that I am most inspired by painting architectural forms.

he man-made landscape is an ever changing one. I attempt to capture what still exists today whether that be an image of a home, a place of business, or a public space. All of these spaces are relevant parts of the environment we inhabit in our daily lives. 

Lety is an active member of the Carpinteria Valley Arts Council,
and her Studio is on the annual Open Art Studio Tour in May each year.
